Wedding at The Venue in Chattanooga, TN | Sami + Andy

We met Sami and Andi back in October of 2021 for their glow-filled engagement session at Casa Rondena. At the time, they didn’t have a wedding photographer, and we were chomping at the bit not only to be able to visit fun-filled Chattanooga (we love to travel!)… but also to work with this super fun, giggly duo! As you can see, we were lucky enough to be chosen as these two’s wedding photographers, and we couldn’t be happier with both the experience and the results!

Their wedding colors were dark green, ivory, and gold, which is a can’t-go-wrong palette that we absolutely adore. Matched with the clean, white exterior of their venue and the stylish black bridesmaid dresses, this gave the wedding high-end luxury vibes that everyone was drooling over. Andy wore his dapper Air Force Mess Dress, while Sami blew everyone away in her Wtoo by Watters dress and blinged-out Steve Madden heels… They glittered and sparkled every time she took a step! For the reception, she switched to her La Femme party outfit, which complimented her shoes perfectly.

Prior to the wedding, Sami told us, “We are not a lovey dovey, serious kind of couple. We both want our wedding to be lighthearted and fun.” While we definitely got that vibe from their giggly engagement session, this was cemented by Andy having something special planned for after the ceremony: as soon as they finished their first kiss as husband and wife, he placed Sami over his shoulder and walked back down the aisle, making sure to grab a beer, with Sami laughing the whole time. They also had some special songs hidden in their DJ’s playlist, guaranteed to surprise the guests and have everyone cracking up. Another fun detail that we, in our years of experience, have never gotten to see before? After the grand entrance, they surprised their bridal party with a game of musical chairs! Everyone was a great sport, while also getting into the competitiveness of the event, and while a line of eliminated groomsmen chanted “Boys! Boys! Boys!” the girls still prevailed!
