Jessica and Bobby met while they were in their freshman year of college at UNM. They ended up being put in the same English class, and Jessica walked in on their first day searching for a seat. She said that she looked around the room and noticed “this big, tall guy taking up an entire table for himself,” which made her laugh and think that he was funny before she even met him.
The couple lives here in Albuquerque with their adorable pup, Java, whom they frequently take to a nice park near their home. One fateful Saturday morning, Jessica and Bobby decided to take their “furbaby” to the park. Jessica thought it was just a normal day, but as she went to get Java ready for their trek home, Bobby pulled her aside beneath a canopy of trees and directed her to set down Java’s things. He then told her that he couldn’t imagine his life with anyone else, and that one day he wanted to take their kids to a park like the one they were in… And we are dying over all that sweetness here in the office! He proceeded to then sink to one knee and pop the question, and through teary eyes (which we don’t blame her for!), Jessica agreed to marry him.
Ever the animal lovers, we are also downright ecstatic that they chose to include Java in their session… Just look at him! So precious! We are so excited for this couple and their future together, and we absolutely love how their glowy engagement photos came out! We cannot wait to shoot their wedding at Old Town Farm in October of next year!
