A Garden Wedding at Bishops Lodge and Loretto Chapel | Kylee + Kevin

Kylee and Kevin’s wedding was absolutely breathtaking and filled with so many personal touches and meaningful details. Every part of the day was thoughtfully planned with such care and intention, down to even the smallest elements.

What you may not realize just from looking at the photos, though, is just how symbolic their choice was to be married in Santa Fe at Bishop’s Lodge and the Loretto Chapel. Kylee has an incredibly close relationship with her aunts, and even though this was a destination wedding, Santa Fe has deep family ties for them. Her Aunt Mary Ann grew up in Santa Fe and was married in Bishop’s Lodge’s beautiful historic chapel. She also attended school at the Loretto Chapel back when it was still a small Catholic school for girls. The chapel itself has such an incredible history, with visitors from all over the world coming to see its miraculous staircase every single day.

Everywhere you turned, Kylee had incorporated personal touches into the details of the day. From the custom bar signs featuring their two doodles, who also made appearances on the guest favors and invitations, to the custom shawls she gifted her bridesmaids. Her something borrowed was her sister’s iconic Christian Louboutin heels, paired beautifully with heirloom jewelry that carried even more meaning throughout the day.

Our favorite weddings are always the ones where couples truly make the day their own by weaving pieces of their relationship, family history, and personalities into every moment. Kylee and Kevin’s wedding was exactly that.
