Amanda and Jason met while working at Dillards. He was new and was only supposed to be in her section for a week, but he always managed to find a way back to working near her. They ended up spending the entire summer together as they quickly became inseparable. The couple ended up moving to Colorado together so Amanda could complete pharmacy school and while on a trip to the Denver Botanical Gardens, Jason decided to propose. He basically chased her around the gardens so he could find the perfect spot to get down on one knee as Amanda zipped from the zinnias to the lily ponds oblivious of his plans.
Fast forward to today, and this sweet couple is tying the knot! The chose to be married at the Annunciation catholic church, keeping God close to their hearts. Before the ceremony they said a quick prayer together holding hands on opposite sides of a door. Amanda stunned her guests, and of course Jason, as she came down the aisle in a beautiful long sleeved gown. The lace on it was to die for! Following the ceremony we ventured to their reception venue at Sandia Event Center for photos. The weather teased us with rain on and off the entire day and as soon as we finished photos, it started to pour. Phew! Guests enjoyed hearing the toasts from the couple’s family members, and not an eye in the house was left dry after Amanda’s dad gave his speech of how perfect the couple was for each other. We left the wedding by finishing with sunset pictures as the clouds parted and the perfect rainbow appeared over their venue. It truly was a wedding blessed by the heavens. Congratulations Jason and Amanda!
