Vibrant Fall Wedding at Hyatt Tamaya | Rachael + Shiva

Rachael was in economics class, but the lecture was the last thing that she was paying attention to. Her friends were giggling because she couldn’t stop smiling at her phone. She had meet Shiva on a dating app, and they had found out that their buildings at the university were close together as it just so happened to be connected via corridor. The immediate connection between Rachael and Shiva was even closer, and felt like home. In October 2022, Shiva made that connection permanent when he proposed at the vibrant Italian Riviera on a boat tour of Porto Venere.

When their wedding day at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya came, it was a magnificent sight to behold. Rachael’s first dress was a breathtaking fitted gown covered in lace details complete with a regal train. The vibrant terracotta, burnt orange, and rose gold colors of their wedding reflected beautifully off of the radiant bride. Pampas grass and colorful roses graced the aisle and alter as Rachael and Shiva said I do with the mountains in the distance.

At the reception, guests found their seats with little wooden hot air balloons that doubled as a wedding favor and their table placement cards. We just loved this detail, especially during Balloon Fiesta season. During the reception, Rachael really showed off her moves after changing into a second dance-ready dress complete with feathers and sparkles. We don’t think she left the dance floor the entire night!
