Maria + Anthony | An Elegant Pink Wedding at Hyatt Regency Tamaya | New Mexico Wedding Photographers

When Maria decided to go to Colorado State University, she didn’t realize that in ROTC she would meet the man of her dreams. The couple maintained a long distance relationship while Anthony was in Ranger school, writing each other love letters. While on a trip to DC together with Maria’s family, Anthony got down on one knee on a rooftop overlooking the White House and Lincoln Memorial and asked Maria to be his wife. The couple now lives in Hawaii, where Anthony is stationed, so Maria’s amazing momma Anna stepped in to help her plan the beautiful wedding that the couple envisioned. Guests traveled from near and far to witness this sweet couple say “I do” in front of the Sandia mountains. A storm could be seen in the distance as lightening struck, but the couple was blessed with a clear sky for their entire wedding and a beautiful rainbow at the start of their reception.

We were completely in love with Maria’s one of a kind wedding dress with hand-painted florals and beautiful victorian buttons. She wore sparkly Jimmy Choo shoes on her feet and carried a bouquet of blush roses in her hand. The ballroom was decked from floor to ceiling with beautiful tall centerpieces of hydrangeas and blush dahlias with candles flickering to set the mood. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the fun Photo Booth and glow sticks courtesy of Cutmaster as the dance floor remained full into the evening.

A huge congrats to Maria + Anthony. It was such an honor to capture your wedding day and we thank you both for your service. We wish you many days of happiness and hope you enjoy your time together living in beautiful Hawaii!
