Aaron and Kendra’s wedding took place on the same weekend as when Aaron proposed to Kendra back in 2021, making their wedding date doubly special! The pair began the day with Kendra getting ready at one of our favorite Santa Fe spots, La Posada, and with Aaron getting ready at a cute little Airbnb down the road. After a sweet first look and bridal and couples portraits, we followed the couple to their ceremony and reception taking place at Gerald Peters Contemporary.
For the theme, these two cuties said they didn’t pick one… because having a wedding in an art gallery is a theme in itself! While guests waited for the ceremony to begin and during cocktail hour, everyone was able to peruse all of the beautiful and intricate pieces the gallery had to offer. We felt it was truly lucky that the artwork complimented Kendra + Aaron’s wedding colors so seamlessly! Dusty blues, soft greens and hints of lilac made this spring wedding ever so perfect.
The ceremony took place in the back outdoor space of the gallery, rimmed by tall, lush trees and framed by a little waterfall, making the spot perfectly peaceful for these two to exchange their vows.
Just outside the gallery there were blossoming trees making for another stunning backdrop for more portraits. While guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the sculpture garden.
From the soft pastels, to the awesome fruit and floral adorned cake by Maggie’s Wedding Cakes, all the details at this wedding just made our hearts sing.
We are so very excited for this sweet couple, and wish you both all the happiness in the years to come!
