Elegant Santa Fe Wedding at Loretto and El Dorado | Brooke + Chris

Brooke and Chris were friends in high school, but didn’t start dating seriously until Chris returned to New Mexico for law school. A trip to the River of Lights together and this couple knew things were getting serious. Down the road, Chris proposed to Brooke on Christmas day with their dogs, and Brooke’s sister and brother in law present, in front of their fireplace. She said it was the easiest yes she would ever say!

Fast forward to today, this couple had the most beautiful wedding in downtown Santa Fe. Starting by having their first look and private vows at the Inn at Loretto, we then shuttled over to the El Dorado for the most beautiful rooftop ceremony. We were lucky enough to get to walk with the couple back to the Loretto for the reception, taking photos along the way in beautiful historic Santa Fe.

Brooke kept the color palette of her wedding simple, with golds and creams accented only by the lush greenery of the florals. It was perfectly elegant and matched the gold chapel at the El Dorado flawlessly making for the perfect photo op. We could talk all day about how beautiful this wedding was, from the views, to the gorgeous florals, to Brooke’s elegant something blue heels… but nothing compared to the abundance of love that was felt throughout the day. It’s obvious this couple is very loved by all who were in attendance, but we don’t put it lightly when we say they had to be one of the kindest couples we have ever gotten to work with. They made us feel like not only guests at their wedding day, but part of their family. It was seriously such an honor to document their love story.
