Caitlin and Cory decided to travel from Texas to have their wedding on her family’s ranch in New Mexico. Caitlin had grown up coming to the ranch, and it was a place that was near and dear to her heart. We can totally see why having their ceremony at this sacred place was such a no brainer. The views were simply breathtaking with mares and their foals grazing in the distance, rolling hills and tall mountains that towered over the lush fields and a vibe of complete peace and serenity.
Caitlin loves the beauty of New Mexico and decided on a rustic meets boho theme for her day. They decorated the arbor where they would say I do with a macrame tapestry and greenery full of eucalyptus and juniper. It matched the bouquet she carried down the aisle and she wore the most amazing lace dress with beautiful intricate embroidery that draped off her shoulders. The couple stood upon pendleton blankets as they read their vows before sharing their first kiss as husband and wife.
Guests were invited to a cocktail hour in the field as we finished taking photos and before everyone hoped on a shuttle to Ruidoso for their reception at the Enchanted Vine Barn. The tall ceilings of the barn had us all in awe as twinkle lights hung over the dance floor as well as a huge floral wreath, perfectly matching Caitlin + Cory’s wedding vibe. The evening ended with a family tradition we have never seen done at a wedding… jump rope!! The couple invited guests to join them in on the game, and since Caitlin is a school teacher, we thought this was just such a perfect fit.
Thank you so much Caitlin and Cory for including us in your day. It was such an honor.
