Carmela and Justin met while at work in Las Vegas, NM. She was a nurse and he was a police officer bringing an inmate into the emergency department. He asked who this pretty nurse happened to be and when she found out about his inquiry, she friend requested him on facebook. The two started seeing each other and knew it was meant to be. Justin invited their closest friends to the top of the Sandia mountains to propose, and of course Carmela was so excited to say yes.
Their wedding day was full of color, from blush to lavender, and the crape myrtle trees just popped with their bright pink flowers. Carmela’s bouquet featured an abundance of dahlias, dusty pink roses, and blushing bride proteas, as well as velvet and silk flowing ribbons that matched the bridesmaids dresses perfectly. As Carmela walked down the aisle with her mother and grandma, even the officiant shed a tear along with Justin for this emotional moment. The couple included their sweet children in the wedding, who were happy to walk down the aisle in front of their mom, but really couldn’t wait to get down on the dance floor later that evening. We wrapped up the night with beautiful sunset portraits on the neighboring Hotel Chaco’s roof, as it rained off in the distance. A huge congrats to Justin and Carmela, we are so happy for you both!
