A Magical Christmas Wedding | Alex + Ross

Cinderella and a Dentist walk in to a bar… this is how Alex + Ross’s love story began on Halloween night in 2017. They both received invitations to a party and at the very last minute they both decided to go. I bet they are so glad they did! From Alex herself: “Maybe it was the libations, maybe it was my jokes, maybe it was his offering free dental work, but something clicked that night. A week later we went on our first date, and have been together ever since. You know, Halloween is for lovers.”

The duo may have met on Halloween, but they decided to have their wedding right before Christmas, resulting in the most magical and whimsical holiday wedding you ever could have imagined. Alex grew up going to the country club in Albuquerque so it was a natural choice for their venue. More Christmas trees than we could count were scattered inside and out, making the perfect backdrop for them to say I do. Garland hung from the ceiling with twinkle lights and the tables were draped in velvet with beautiful centerpieces of maroon peonies, (YES THERE ARE MAROON PEONIES Y’ALL!) pinecones and evergreens. Guest were given hot cocoa or hot toddies to sip while the couple said their vows before entering cocktail hour greeted by a large sign stating “Jingle all the way to your seat,” where they found bells to escort them to their tables. Everyone danced all night and the party only stopped when it was last call and guest were handed fake snow to toss on the couple as they ran to their golf cart getaway.

Alex + Ross were an absolute dream to work with and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our year. Congratulations again to the newlyweds and make sure to scroll down to see all the Christmas magic!
