Ashley and Seth attended a friend’s wedding on beautiful fall day and were dancing the night away when they began to dance together. Seth asked his best friend, the groom, who the beautiful girl was he had danced with because he just had to see her again. Hearing that they met at a wedding, we can confidently say that they were destined to tie the knot. Fast forwarding to Seth’s 29th birthday, the pair took a trip to Seattle to celebrate. After dinner at the Sears Tower he wanted to take some photos with the view and this is where, to Ashley’s surprise, he got down on one knee.
Their wedding was something out of a fairytale, however thanks to COVID the planning process was of course no easy fete. The couple were debating whether or not they would have to postpone their big day in August when they were given the sad news that their venue was no longer doing weddings. Ashley quickly began searching for a new venue and they even considered Seth’s family’s pecan farm in Las Cruses. While it would have been beautiful, it would have been a lot of work to prep the farm for a wedding, so Ashley continued her search. That was until she saw the Woodbine Mansion on our blog posts of beautiful Texas venues, where she quickly decided to make an appointment.
Their wedding now became a destination wedding, moving from Albuquerque to Las Cruces to finally Austin, Texas. And we are so glad this couple made this decision because the venue was a perfect fit! Situated near the adorable downtown area of Round Rock, this beautiful mansion sits with tall white pillars and black shutters. Surrounded by Magnolia trees, wisteria lined arbors and white rose bushes, it is the perfect event venue with so many different options for your ceremony and reception. Ashley and Seth chose to marry in front of the wisteria vines under an arbor covered in soft peach and white florals. The pinks were carried throughout the decor from the linen napkins and bridesmaid dresses to the beautiful ornate furniture inside the bridal suite. Large windows offered us tons of natural light as the couple got ready and we couldn’t stop drooling over the multiple fireplaces, crystal chandeliers and dainty wallpapers. Seth and Ashley ended the night the same way they met, dancing the night away however this time, the wedding was their own. We loved that they chose to do a final dance to end their perfect day before being whisked away with a bubble send off in a beautiful vintage car.
Ashley and Seth, we were so honored to be included in your destination wedding in Austin, and we wish you both so many years of happiness! Congrats Again!
