Due to the circumstances we all currently find ourselves in, our scheduled shoots and weddings of late have been postponed. While we are thankful for how flexible and patient our brides and their vendors have been in rescheduling their sessions and special days, we truly do miss what we love most about our job: weddings! Staring wistfully at 2019’s weddings, bridal sessions, and styled shoots… We miss capturing all the details, flowers, decor, and, of course, the dresses!
In lieu of the postponed weddings, we’d love to share some of our favorite dresses from this past year! All of our amazing brides have excellent taste, (and we say that without bias, we swear!) so scroll through some of the most beautiful dresses from 2019 and feel free to be inspired.
Nicole generously modeled for us in a bridal inspo shoot, and the result was simply magical due to the stunning blossom grove she posed in, but the delicate beading and details on the dress enhanced the romantic, fairy-tale feel tenfold.

We absolutely loved the lacework in Allison’s dress as she modeled for our 2019 Fall Workshop! Looking for a perfect dress for your late fall or winter wedding? We adore these long sleeves and they would be the perfect fit to keep you warm along with your honey.

Speaking of lace, we died over the elegant design here on Crina’s dress. Ever the advocates for ditching the thought that wedding traditions should be set in stone, we were also excited to see the champagne blush tint in the gown! It complimented her skin tone beautifully.

Haley’s wedding dress was unique in its graceful boatneck hemline, which we don’t get to see all that often! Plus, the dress had a playful air about it, as whenever she turned, the low-cut back led the eye to a fun, but still classic-looking, bow!

Ah, Caitlin, give us all the Boho Goddess feels!!! We can’t help but fawn over how perfectly this dress encapsulates the pinnacle of what a bohemian wedding dress should be: relatively simply in design, but intricate in lovely lace details. With the flowing lace sleeves, it’s effortlessly gorgeous.

If you can’t tell, we love details, and more specifically, we love lace. The back of Bre’s wedding dress gives it extra personality, and the buttons lend a unifying touch.

What’s that? More lace and another Boho Princess? You bet! From near or far, Brittany’s dress (and the details in it) are positively incredible! We loved the nude underlay, modest lines and selective embroidered detail! They give this dress a truly refined, boho feel, while the unique v-shaped plunging front provides a modern edge.

With highly elaborate beadwork, the back of Amy’s dress was a site to behold! Plus, we can’t get over how fabulously she styled it with her coat during her and Jody’s winter Santa Fe elopement.

The feminine detail in Amanda’s lace sleeves had us drooling!

The backdrop of this photo makes Sevilla and John look as if they were plopped directly into the setting of a fairytale: vast lavender fields, sunset-drenched mountains, and a pastel sky. Combine that with the fact Sevilla’s full gown and tiara majorly contribute to the princess factor, and you really could believe they’re in their own magical tale!

Melinda’s gown was positively stunning in its fine detail. We also love the form-fitting mermaid style!

Winter weddings always tend to yield some of the most superb lace dresses, and Ruthie’s was no exception. We love the gentle floral pattern and how it’s accented so nicely by her thin silver belt!

Baylee’s glowing portraits would have of course been show-stopping regardless, (look at how her sweet smile lights up her face!) but we just don’t think it would have been quite the same without her striking Maggie Sottero gown. Baylee won her dream wedding dress through a contest that Maggie Sottero and Bridal Elegance were hosting, and we can’t get over the v-shaped, plunging backline.

Lastly, Lauren’s dress was sophisticated and polished, with the girly touches of delicate, bare shoulders and ornate lacework throughout the gown. So pretty!
