Boho Nature Pointe Wedding in Tijeras | Nikki + Shawn

Nikki and Shawn said “I do” one week ago today at the beautiful Nature Pointe in Tijeras. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, and of course their cutie pie lab Peanut, the couple stood under an arbor draped in linen and greenery and said their handwritten vows to each other. We scanned the crowd and saw so many happy faces, as well as tears of joy, as this couple is obviously so loved. As Nikki walked down the aisle, Shawn wiped away tears since he just couldn’t believe he was getting to marry the woman of his dreams. Nikki looked absolutely stunning in her Casablanca gown that was encrusted with jewels on the top and a flowy satin skirt. She held a bouquet of dahlias, ranunculus and roses in the most beautiful shades of peach and sunset pink— all of which were grown in her mother’s garden! The colors matched her bridesmaid dresses perfectly and we were just obsessed with how vibrant the shades of this wedding were.

Storm clouds moved in and, as the couple shared their first kiss, lightening struck in the background. What a way to start a marriage! We quickly went to a field of sunflowers for photos as the couple laughed with their bridal party and had no worries about the rain. Guests danced the night away, drinking yummy margaritas and eating churros before sending the couple off with a rainy sparkler exit.
