When it comes to wedding venues, there are a handful of places that we have fallen in love with. One of which is Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm. The historic property is home to an Organic Lavender farm and a secluded Inn that is perfect for rest and relaxation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
But when it comes to being a wedding venue, there are so many reasons why we love this stunning place.
.: The Rooms :.
Many hotels rooms are full of patterns and colors and furniture. Los Poblanos are champions of clean lines and minimalism. The rooms are bright and white and perfect for classic getting ready photos. The natural lighting in the rooms provide the best light for us to photograph you getting your hair done, getting into your dress, and so many more of the small moments before the day begins.
.: All the places to take photos :.
From the place you will do your first look, to all the lovely flowers and trees along the property, there is no shortage of locations for you to take photos with your bridal party, family, or your new forever best friend.
Some of our favorite locations include:
.: These gorgeous white doors:.
.: The Greeley Rose Garden :.
.: The Iconic Pink Wall :.
.: The stunning driveway into the property :.
.: The pomegranate trees and
blue doors :.
.: This secret garden :.
.: The grand portal :.
And of course,
.: The lavender fields :.
The Variety of Ceremonies Locations
Just like there’s no shortage of portrait locations, the options for you to choose for your ceremony spot are endless.
.:The East Lawn:.
.: fireplace terrace lawn :.
.: Fireplace Terrace at La Quinta :.
.: South lawn (featuring gorgeous ivy arches) :.
.: The Library Doors :.
.: Rose Greely Lawn :.
which is also a perfect location for a brunch wedding reception
.: The reception :.
The food:
The drinks, the cake, the dinner rolls, the dinner itself, Everything cooked and made at Los poblanos is mouth watering. You simply can’t go wrong with the food.
The dinner party:
Having dinner under the grand portal is a wonderful way to welcome your guests. The cooled patio with the breeze and the view of the pool makes for a most wonderful dinner setting.
The party:
The reception space inside is perfect for party lighting and is one big dance floor. The party of course can be led into the grand portal after dinner for the few who need a small break and some fresh air.
.: The Party Guests :.
We know party crashers are no ones preference for their big day. But the ones at Los Poblanos are adorable and always welcomed.
We love it while walking around the property the peacocks make an appearance. There’s nothing prettier than the colors and shine on a peacocks feathers and there’s something about them crashing the reception that is just plain magic.
And of course you can’t forget our famous mouse. No not a mouse. A cat. A cat named mouse. The Los Poblanos barn cat likes to follow our brides and grooms around on their wedding day. He likes to find his way into your photos and rub up against your legs and honestly, what is sweeter than a cat who WANTS you to pet him?
And last but not least the famous Alpacas of the lavender fields. These little guys make moments so sweet and always make our couples smile and laugh. These little sweethearts keep their distance, but love to photobomb every once and a while. And honestly, we love when they do.
.: The sunsets :.
One of our favorite things about weddings are the sunset photos. A last moment to take some time and soak in those “just married” feelings. The famous Sandia’s in the background and the lavender plants front and center create the most romantic wedding portraits under the painted southwestern sunsets.
