Melanie and Kevin’s first date together was set up by a mutual friend. Melanie was over the dating scene and she told her friend, after this date with Kevin, she was taking a break from the dating life. Little did she know… Kevin would be the one she would marry.
The couple’s original wedding day was a victim of COVID like so many others. But I must admit, it was well worth the wait because when I say this wedding was GORGEOUS, that is just simply an understatement. Melanie chose the colors of blush, burgundy and navy and pulled out all the stops when it came to the details. From the beautiful wedding invitations to all the matching signage, we felt like everywhere we turned there was something amazing to photograph. The ceremony took place at Melanie’s childhood church, Cristo Rey, with the reception on the rooftop of the La Fonda in downtown Santa Fe. Not only did the couple have an awesome shiny black classic Chevy to whisk them away to their reception in style, but they also had a mariachi band that led them in a parade around the plaza before heading upstairs for dinner and an evening of dancing.
Congratulations Melanie and Kevin. We are so lucky to have you as our clients and we wish you so many years of happiness together.
