Keiana and Ryan met through a dating app while Ryan was traveling through town for work. For the next few months, they texted and spoke on the phone daily, and then finally decided to meet in person. After more months had passed, with Ryan driving up from Las Cruces almost every weekend to visit, they decided it was time to move in together!
To propose, Ryan waited until they went on a family vacation to Vancouver, Canada. On the last day of the trip, they visited Stanley Park to view all of the stunning flowers on the property. While they were walking through the rose garden, they happened to be there at just the right moment to watch a couple’s first look photos for their wedding, and according to Keiana: “It was beautiful and of course I cried.” Ryan snuck away while she was busy watching the couple take photos, and he then suggested that they go over to another area in the gardens that was surrounded by roses and sunflowers— which just so happened to be her favorite combination! Surrounded by her favorite blooms, Ryan got down on one knee and asked Keiana for her hand. After the proposal, they spent more time in the gardens taking pictures and calling family members to tell them the good news. Eventually, they returned to their hotel to meet with her parents for a bit before leaving to enjoy a massive firework show on the water. Talk about ending the trip with a bang!
Like most of our couples trying to tie the knot during quarantine and the pandemic, they rescheduled… and rescheduled… and finally, it was third times the charm! They originally planned to have their wedding in Albuquerque but after trouble with their original venue, they moved the wedding to Salt Lake City! We must admit, we weren’t too sad because their venue was GORGEOUS! They said their vows in front of a stunning large fireplace decked in greenery and candles. The bridesmaids wore pink and carried bouquets full of elegant ranunculus and garden roses. Keiana looked stunning in her mermaid gown and side swept hair rocking blinged out stiletto nails. Ryan’s suit jacket had the coolest lining and paired with the floral tie and striking blue color, he looked equally as awesome as his bride. Our favorite part was definitely sunset photos with the gorgeous backdrop of the venue and mountains, it made our photographer hearts so happy!
Congratulations to this sweet couple, and we wish you nothing but the best!
