A Summer Las Campanas Wedding Full of Heart | Janine + Mark

Janine and Mark’s summer wedding at Las Campanas was special from the start… warm, vibrant, full of love, and so many personal touches. From the moment we arrived, we knew Janine and Mark’s celebration was going to be breathtaking. Janine and her uncle designed all of the stationery together, making sure each piece felt meaningful and true to southwestern culture. Janine also hand-painted the table numbers in watercolor. Guests couldn’t help but stop and admire them and every part of the day felt like a piece of their story.

Janine got ready at her parent’s home with beautiful modern southwestern inspired art as the backdrop. It matched their stationary perfectly! Of course their family dog, Moose, tried to steal the show by watching us photograph details and sitting on Janine’s dress as she put on her earrings.

After a tear filled first look, one of the most memorable moments happened during the ceremony. Along with their heartfelt vows, they read a poem Janine wrote when she was little, all about love. It was sweet, emotional, and one of those moments where you catch yourself blinking away tears behind the camera.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour and stumbled upon a creative escort card display of tiny Kachina dolls, each one unique. It was such a fun and meaningful nod to the Southwest, and everyone loved finding theirs. Then, as guests sat down for dinner, they were greeted with handwritten notes at every seat. Janine and Mark took the time to write every single guest a personal letter. Watching them read their notes smiling, laughing, even tearing up was hands-down one of our favorite parts of the whole day.

To wrap it all up? An ice cream bar and a dance floor that stayed packed until the very end. It was the perfect ending to a day full of love, creativity, and connection. Cheers to many years of love and happiness! Congrats love birds!
