Just outside of Philadelphia sits the absolutely breathtaking property of Elkins Estate. Built in the late 1800s by William Elkin for his summer home, a businessman who was part of founding the Pennsyvania Railroad. The property is now a wedding venue, so couples get to partake in celebrating this historic manor to say I do. The inside is even more impressive than the outside, with ornate chandeliers, large marble fireplaces, and intricate murals on the ceilings that mimic the intricacy and beauty of the sistine chapel.
This jaw dropping wedding editorial took place at the end of winter, just as the blossoms were starting to show their faces. Beautiful florals graced the long head table draped in blue velvet, which matched the soft blue of the ceiling perfectly. Brightly colored roses were placed in lavish gold vases, tying in with the ornate walls and chandeliers. Here are some of our favorite moments from this swoon worthy shoot.
