Colorful Wedding at La Fonda in Santa Fe | Nancy + Alex

Nancy and Alex meet on a dating app during COVID. When Alex saw a picture of Nancy skydiving, he knew that if she was crazy enough to do that, she might be crazy enough to fall in love with him. The couple had two zoom dates before they decided to meet in person for the first time at Sawmill Market. Nancy even had a time limit for how long she would stay for the date, but it went so well that she stayed well past her time limit! The New Mexico couple fell hopelessly in love and the rest is history!

Nancy and Alex’s wedding at La Fonda in Santa Fe was infused with so many beautiful and sentimental touches. Before their ceremony, Nancy and Alex wrote each other letters and read them while they were getting ready, and then they shared several more intimate moments during their first touch and their first look. Nancy wore a stunning blush ballgown with intricate lace details from Eddy K Bridal. Directly after their ceremony, Nancy, Alex, and all of their guests were led down the stairs and marched around the Santa Fe Plaza serenaded by a mariachi band in the traditional wedding parade. Then, while the guest retreated upstairs for cocktail hour on La Fonda’s Terrace, we stole Nancy and Alex away for photos around the historic downtown Santa Fe.

After dinner, guests enjoyed delicious Churros from The Churro Bar as they sipped champagne and watched the St. Francis Cathedral turn pink with the sunset. All in all, it was a perfect day and we were so blessed to have met this amazing couple and their sweet little one. Congrats Nancy and Alex!
