Elegant Casa Rondena Wedding | Caroline + Jon

Caroline and Jon met through mutual friends on a blind date while living in the DC area. Since their first meeting was technically a group date, they described it as the “perfect mix of fun and chaos.” With the pair hitting it off so well, they decided to make plans for a second date that would be just the two of them. Their plan of a quick bite after work turned into hours passing, however, as they laughed and talked until the restaurant closed for the night. Caroline actually lived in DC, while Jon lived in Gaithersburg, so weekends turned into him making the trek to her so they could spend their time together watching new shows, exploring new restaurants, and their new relationship.

After three and a half years, Jon popped the question on a Saturday morning walk with their dog, Stella (whom you can see in adorable bows giving Caroline kisses below!). They came home to a house filled with decorations, with both their parents there to celebrate the wonderful news.

We knew their wedding was going to be magical, but after actually getting to experience it… all we can say is: WOW! To start, the couple did their portraits together and with their bridal party at Los Poblanos, and you can’t get much better than that! Afterwards, we whisked them off to their ceremony, before returning to their reception location in a classic car! Once at Casa Rondena, we took a few more gorgeous shots before releasing them to enjoy their cocktail hour and guests. Just look at that reception set up! Beautiful floral displays of peonies and anemones graced the tables as guests dined amongst the grapevines.

To end the night, the pair sealed their special day with a sparkler exit, having all their close friends and family lined up to send them off.
