Blaire and Max were married at the beautiful La Posada de Santa Fe in August and their wedding day was such a vibrant celebration of love, creativity, and joy. Blaire and Max embraced Blaire’s artistic side, which paired perfectly with Santa Fe, while also paying homage to their home state of Texas! Their entire day was perfection, and Blaire and Max ended their night being whisked away by a vintage getaway car while their family happily cheered them on.
Blaire and Max incorporated so many lovely handmade details into their wedding. Blaire and her mom, Jennifer, poured their creativity into every detail of the big day, crafting elements that made the celebration uniquely theirs. From the stunning earrings Blaire wore, lovingly handcrafted by her mom, to their one of a kind invitations and papel picado, each element was a testament to their artistry. Jennifer even designed the dance floor and crafted the reception chandelier, and Blaire displayed several beautiful pieces of her artwork, infusing the venue with their vision and style.
During the ceremony guests were serenaded by a string quartet, from Absolute Entertainment, as they arrived. The beginning of the aisle had the most gorgeous floral arrangements of peonies and blush roses with mini ristras adorning the aisle chairs. The turquoise altar had a beautiful display ristras and large terracota pots full of florals as well as a papel picado backdrop made by Blaire and Jennifer. Blaire and Max were then showered with flower petals as they walked down the aisle as newlyweds!
After their ceremony guests were joined at cocktail hour by none other than Carmelita The Tequila Donkey! Everyone enjoyed drinks, music, and admired breathtaking pieces of Blaire’s artwork. Blaire even made a special painting for everyone to sign as their guest book—a beautiful keepsake that perfectly captured the spirit of the day.
Their entire reception was truly such a work of art! The tables were decorated with papel picado table numbers, handmade escort cards, whimsical flowers, and romantic candles. Their cake was adorned with delicate sugar flowers that looked almost too beautiful to eat, and their custom dance floor featuring their monogram perfectly pulled everything together. The chandelier of glass-blown hearts was carefully crafted with love and was one of our favorite details of the night!
. As the night went on, the dance floor stayed packed thanks to Manhattan Orchestra’s talent, with guests dancing their hearts out and celebrating the newlyweds. They were handed little chile light necklaces and custom made handkerchiefs to add to the fun of the evening before a grand sparkler exit where Blaire and Max left the evening in a 1958 classic Mercedes.
The entire day was filled with love, happiness, and a sense of joy that could be felt from Blaire, Max, and their closest family and friends. Every last detail was a true work of art that set the tone for the entire day which was truly one to remember.
