A Whimsical Wedding at La Fonda in Santa Fe | Jaclyn + Foster

Jaclyn and Foster were married at the historic La Fonda in Santa Fe this summer. Their entire day was a beautiful celebration filled with New Mexican culture, whimsical details, and an abundance of love. This sweet duo embraced the rich traditions and charm of Santa Fe, while also paying homage to their sweet pup back home in Texas! Their day was nothing short of amazing, and Jaclyn and Foster ended their night with the most spectacular view of the Cathedral Basilica and downtown Santa Fe at their rooftop reception.

Jaclyn and Foster’s ceremony was romantic and whimsical! Guests were serenaded by Empire Strings as they arrived for the ceremony, setting the romantic tone that carried through the evening. The aisle was lined with gorgeous wildflowers, and the altar had the most stunning floral displays with the beautiful Cathedral as a backdrop. Jaclyn and Foster were showered with flower confetti as they walked down the aisle as newlyweds, where they met with the mariachis to begin their march around the plaza!

Once their ceremony commenced, mariachis led the way to the historic Santa Fe Plaza while playing La Marcha, a New Mexican wedding tradition! Jaclyn, Foster, and their loved ones marched through the plaza beaming with pure bliss shaking white maracas! Their celebration continued onto the Terrace at La Fonda with Mariachi Xochitl playing while everyone enjoyed cocktail hour. Guests enjoyed sipping their drinks adorned with papel picado flags, each one personalized with the couple’s last name—a charming nod to their shared heritage.

Jaclyn and Foster had the most darling chile escort cards, candles, and romantic floral arrangements for their reception. Diamond Empire Band played while everyone danced well into the night. Guests enjoyed yummy wedding cake with the most adorable cake topper to honor their puppy, who was also featured on the cocktail napkins and matchbox party favors. To wrap up the evening, Jaclyn and Foster had a special surprise appearance by Rosita the Tequila Donkey!
