A Dreamy Destination Wedding at Moon Palace in Cancun | Maria + Nick

Imagine exchanging vows with the love of your life on a pristine white-sand beach, the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea rolling at the shore, and the sun setting in a blaze of colors behind you. This is the enchanting allure of Maria and Nick’s destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico! Maria and Nick got hitched this summer at the beautiful Moon Palace Cancun. Their destination wedding was full of tropical views and so many lovely moments.

Maria and Nick had an intimate beach ceremony where they exchanged vows surrounded by the love of their family, friends, and rolling waves in the background. Even though Hurricane Bertal was starting to form, Maria and Nick handled the weather so gracefully. The soft sand and rolling waves made for such a beautiful setting for their vows.

Once their ceremony commenced, guests made their way to cocktail hour greeted by Mariachis and talavera shot glasses to take a tequila shot! The weather took a quick turn with strong winds and rain, so everyone rushed inside to a small ballroom hotel staff converted to continue the celebration.

As the night began to come to an end, the weather calmed down enough for Maria and Nick to finish off the night with us and the most gorgeous sunset!

Maria and Nick picked such a dreamy location for their special day! Even though a hurricane was brewing, these two lovebirds didn’t let that ruin their day. It was such an honor being able to shoot their destination wedding! Congrats, Maria and Nick! Wishing you all the best!
