Sun-kissed Engagement at Casa Rondena Winery |Brooke + Chris

We met with Chris and Brooke this past summer for a glass of wine to really get to know the couple for a little bit before we started their session. Talk about a great start! After that, we swept them away to start shooting around the beautiful grounds of Casa Rondena. The grapes were the perfect size to balance Brooke’s ring for some stunning ring shots, and shooting through the vines made for some incredibly romantic vibes! With the sun giving us its full glory, we were also able to position them for photos with incredible glow!

These two met their freshman year of high school here in Albuquerque. They frequently hung out together, but didn’t truly date yet. They remained close, however, up until Chris left for college in Colorado, with Brooke staying to attend UNM. They continued to keep in contact, but didn’t really reconnect deeply until Chris returned for law school in Albuquerque. With Chris in his first year, they began officially dating, and quickly learned what it meant to support each other through difficult times. After he completed law school in 2018, Brooke followed that up by starting PA school the next year.

These two are quite the busy bees, but when they do get a second for free time, they enjoy hanging out with their three dogs, working out, card games, breweries, and hikes.

After five years of dating, Chris proposed on Christmas last year in an intimate proposal in front of their fireplace. Brooke wrote, “It was a simple, but special moment between the two of us that we’ll cherish forever.” She also wanted to include that, “While I don’t remember the exact first moment we met or even our first date, I always knew there was something special about Chris and knew that he was a part of my life for a reason,” which is just so sweet!
