We flew out to Pennsylvania to meet Sarah and Brandon for the most gorgeous engagement session in August! We met at the farm where Sarah keeps her sweet horse Junior, and is also owned by her maid of honor Kim. The pastures were blooming with wildflowers and as green as could be. We couldn’t get over their sweet dogs and Junior, who made a special appearance for their session and added a little chaos to the peaceful evening in the best way.
Although Sarah and Brandon met on Facebook, they almost met in person just a year prior. They didn’t realize until later in their relationship that they attended the same local event. Sarah and Brandon were sitting together when she pulled up a picture of the event, and that’s when they realized that Brandon was in it! She then pulled up some videos and there was Brandon again. The only thing separating them was a mutual friend who would later be asked to be a bridesmaid in their wedding. Their mutual friend went to grade-school with Brandon and was Sarah’s college roommate. They had these connections all along, with fate finally bringing them together.
Brandon proposed to Sarah at Brown Hill Farms during the final tulip weekend in May. Brandon was nervous, and Sarah had a hunch about what was coming. Brandon got down on one knee and proposed to Sarah while they were surrounded by a field of tulips. In the midst of his nervousness, the ring box fell but the two of them laughed it off, making the moment every bit special and uniquely theirs. Sarah of course said yes, and the rest is history!
Sarah and Brandon are getting married next year at The Venue at Carley Brooke in September, and we could not be more excited to capture their beautiful day!
