Jessica and Matt had originally chosen a venue in their home state of California in beautiful wine country. Sadly with all the recent wild fires that have been occurring in Cali, their venue burned to the ground. Heartbroken, Jessica began her hunt again for the perfect venue to say I do. They decided to search outside of California and found The Four Season’s in Santa fe online. She just had to visit this little oasis in the desert. They hopped on a plane and traveled to our enchanting city and fell in love with everything it had to offer.
The couple has been together for 14 years, meeting the very first week of college. The family was surprised that Jessica met someone so quickly, and wanted her to enjoy life as a college student, but when they came to visit and met Matt they instantly welcomed him to the family. Matt’s family lives on the other side of the world in Australia, so when he took Jessica on a visit, he used this perfect opportunity to propose in front of the beautiful Sydney opera house.
Not a single guest was from New Mexico, so this wedding was 100% destination for this fun group. Matt’s 94 year old grandpa even traveled all the way from Australia to see the couple say I do! Jessica and Matt decided to incorporate colors of our beautiful desert sunsets into their wedding and even decorated the ceremony with tumbleweeds. At the reception guests could not get enough of the sweet Tequila donkey Conchita, as they laughed and did shots and toasted the new Mr and Mrs. Congrats Jessica and Matt, your wedding was the perfect fiesta and we wish you so many years of happiness.
