Haley moved from New Mexico to Midland, Texas in 2015 and Will, a friend of a friend, showed up to help her unload her U-haul. He was the first guy she met in Texas and three years later, the pair spent almost every day together. Will decided he wanted to move out of the friend zone and asked Haley out on their first date. As sure as he was asking her out, Will knew that this was the woman he would marry. This last fall Will took Haley to an oak grove on his ranch, and got down on one knee and asked for her hand.
Will told Haley that since he got to choose where he proposed, she should get to choose where they had the wedding. So Haley chose the magical Los Poblanos in her home state of New Mexico.
Haley was coming out to New Mexico for her bachelorette weekend, and asked Will to tag along so they could capture their engagement photos with us. But the day of their session, the weather turned south. The winds were expected to reach 40 MPH that night, but since Will had flown in just for this, there was no way we could reschedule. Luckily, the sun spent its day hiding behind the clouds blowing into town in preparation for the nights storm. We were able to push up their shoot a few hours and beat the storm! The result was a super adorable engagement session with hardly any wind. We so excited for Haley and Will’s July wedding!
