Clarissa and Gerardo met at a boot camp class taught by her best friend. The first thing Clarissa did after meeting Gerardo was look him up on social media. But not for herself, she wanted to set him up with one of her friends. However, the more she scrolled and learned about him, she changed her mind. She wanted the cute cop for herself. And we’re so glad that she changed her mind!

After proposing with a purple sapphire ring, (Clarissas favorite color) the pair began to plan their dream wedding in Santa Fe.

The couple started their day by getting ready in the beautiful rooms at the Historic La Fonda Hotel. Clarissa wore her grandmothers ring and had her brides in a stunning burgundy color. After getting ready they walked to one of Santa Fe’s most iconic landmarks, the Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi, for their ceremony.

Gerardo learned up as he saw his beautiful bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle.

The reception was held at La Fonda as the ballroom was decorated in gold and champagne tones with burgundy flowers.

Gerardo’s entire SWAT team and Clarissas soccer team attended their wedding, which made for a very fun reception! However, their spunky son Isaiah was truly the life of the party! The whole day threatened a downpour, but Clarissa and Gerardo celebrated their day remaining totally dry and enjoyed a slight drizzle from inside.

We’re so excited for these two and can’t wait to see what the future holds! Congrats!
