Like how so many love stories begin, Matt and Caroline’s was in high school. They were both cast in the school musical, she as Cinderella and he as Prince Charming. They began dating and their lives took them to Las Cruces, where Caroline studied to become a teacher and Matt joined the military. Matt decided he wanted to continue their real life fairytale and decided to ask Caroline for her hand. A trip to the beautiful lantern festival and he was down on one knee, where she of course said yes!
The couple decided they wanted to get married at the church in Old Town Albuquerque, as they both grew up going there, and it held a special place in their hearts. The month of January was such a beautiful time to get married, as the church was decked out in twinkle lights and garland while they said “I do” surrounded by their closest family and friends. Caroline looked stunning in her long sleeve ball gown, with intricate lace and a plunging back, and guests were stunned as she walked towards her prince charming.
These two are just so beautiful inside and out. We loved the fact that Matt never would let Caroline’s train drag in the dirt as they walked, he was such a gentleman as he insisted on helping her carry it everywhere. We also loved how each moment throughout the day brought tears to Caroline’s eyes. From the vows to the first dance, each moment held such sentiment and emotion. We can just tell these two are going to be so happy together! Congratulations, Caroline and Matt!
