Our Favorite Wedding Vendors

We are so lucky to work with so many amazing vendors in Albuquerque and Santa Fe and wanted to compile a list of our favorite “friend-ors,” as we like to call them, for our brides and grooms. When it comes to your wedding day, we want to give you the best photography experience possible, but we also want your overall wedding experience to be outstanding! It is so important that you hire a team that will work your wedding like a well oiled machine. While you can find this list in the back of our bridal guide, we also wanted to do a blog post to shout out these awesome businesses that we love and adore and who take such great care of our clients.

Planners

Planners help your day flow seamlessly so you are less stressed and don’t have to worry about the little things like your ceremony arch blowing over or those extra guests that don’t have seats at the reception. We highly recommend at least hiring a “month of” coordinator. Also, planners and designers are very different things.

The flowers really set the mood for your wedding day. Yes, they die after the wedding is over, but they live on in your photos forever! This is why we say your bouquet is one of the most important items on your list, as it is in every shot.

A lot of weddings we capture have a person that is special to the couple officiate. This is so sentimental and meaningful. However, if you don’t have someone in mind, we strongly recommend Paul and Kelly. Also, if the person you are thinking isn’t a good public speaker or doesn’t give directions well, you may want to rethink the decision. Not only do Paul and Kelly have a way with words, they know all the right things to do to make sure the ceremony flows, as well as letting your guests know what to do before and after the ceremony starts.

The biggest stress factor for us on your wedding day is if you have a videographer or not. We have worked with so many newbies that have ruined shots of ours — from the first kiss to your grand entrance — because they jump in front of us or insist on being right in your face.
