Kendra + Levi | A Downtown Engagement | Albuquerque Wedding Photographers

After a sneaky proposal in front of San Francisco’s famous Golden Gate Bridge, we were excited to have Kendra and Levi in our lenses in downtown Albuquerque. They were supposed to be saying “I do!” this weekend, but with current events, that has obviously changed. However, we still wanted to bring some joy to them on what would have been their countdown week!

Kendra and Levi are a military couple who have been together since 2017. Like many of our brides and grooms, they met on a dating app. We’re sure that curveballs and perseverance are part of their daily lives, but we are still glad they have stuck with us through this season of trials!

Before his deployment, Levi swept Kendra away to California and, with a little luck and some help from great friends, was able to pop the question in the scenic and dreamy Battery Spencer Park, one of San Francisco’s trademark viewing spots. Though we couldn’t capture that magical moment out on the bay, we are super excited to share their urban romance in the heart of our city. With hints of blue laced throughout the shoot, we pay just the slightest of homages to Albuquerque’s history, plus that bay area charm. 

As much as we will miss shooting their wedding this weekend, we know that patience and trust are something we could learn from these two, as love is evident in every shot. It may not be this weekend, but we cannot wait to capture their overdue wedding in July at the Sandia Event Center… we know will be well worth the wait!
