Aaron and Victoria, met in their Albuquerque high school, where they became fast friends their freshman year. Victoria currently coaches competitive cheerleading for the Cheer Central Suns of New Mexico, having found a career revolving around something she was quite passionate about herself! She cheered not only in high school, but also in college on the University of New Mexico Lobo’s squad… No wonder he developed a big ole’ crush on her! Currently, Aaron works in the music industry out in bright and sunny California.
Last year, he got down to one knee and asked her to marry him on the fourth of July at Disneyland… while she was visiting him in California, right after the amazing fireworks show! Sparks were definitely flying that night. (Don’t judge us, we had to hehe). And, of course, Victoria said yes to her longtime love!
While they were originally supposed to have their wedding this past July, COVID had other plans, and instead their Big Day was pushed back to June of next year. They then planned for their engagement session to be in July, when Aaron was able to take time off his busy schedule and visit from California. Since he was only going to be in state for a few days, we had a limited opportunity to schedule photos… which was made difficult by the tumultuous weather. With the option of postponing completely off the table, the pair drove through a heavy rainstorm up to Santa Fe for their session, hopeful that the weather would clear up— or at least lighten up enough to pose for a few and run back to their car. However, as soon as they got to the mountain, the sky opened up, and they were able to get plenty of epic shots to celebrate their upcoming marriage.
We loved spending time getting to know these two cuties, and we cannot wait to celebrate with them on their special day next year!
