After an extra year of waiting, we finally were able to shoot these two cuties’ wedding— and we have to say, it was worth the wait! Victoria and Aaron’s day was absolutely beautiful and full of so much joy, as it was practically radiating off the couple. Furthermore, you could tell how happy their close friends and family were for them, and it was positively contagious!
The pair started their day at Hotel Chaco, before moving to Foothills Fellowship for the ceremony, and finally ending at Eldorado Hotel and Spa in Santa Fe… which gave us plenty of opportunities for a vast variety of photos! It also allowed us to spend a little extra time with the couple, which was a downright pleasure. The pair was just so sweet, and Aaron had us dying as he carried: her train, her purse, and her bouquet! (Chivalry is not dead, people!)
The day had touches of Disney themes, as they are avid Disney lovers. Her shoes were “glass slippers,” and there were even more touches hinting at the theme at their reception. Also, the flower girls thought Victoria was the real princess Tiana which was the CUTEST thing. This tied in with the couple’s engagement, as Aaron had proposed to Victoria at Disneyland directly following the fireworks show!
Their colors were blush, white, cream, and rose gold, which lent a whimsical, feminine touch to their day that photographed in a really romantic way. Talk about a Maura Jane bride! Furthermore, their dessert table was decked out and abounding, as desserts are Victoria’s favorite! (She had us cracking up as dinner was being served, as elegant settings of finely plated steaks and chicken were set down… and we noticed she had picked the kid’s plate of “chickie tendies” for herself! Baby Yoda would be proud! haha).
We ended the night with sunset pictures on Eldorado’s stunning rooftop outside the Presidential Suite, the view of Santa Fe and the Sangre De Cristos making the transition into evening downright magical. We then returned to the ballroom to gather our things, while also relishing in the nostalgic sounds of Usher and “The Cupid Shuffle,” both of which we’ve been quite deprived of during COVID’s reception-less weddings!
Congratulations, Victoria and Aaron, and we wish you years upon years of bliss!
