Amber + Ryan | White Mesa Engagement Session | Albuquerque Wedding Photographer

Amber and Ryan met while working a shift together as flight medics. They hit it off, and while he lived in Denver, and she lived in Albuquerque they decided to try long distance. And they made it work!

Not long after, she got accepted into PA school in Alabama. And though the couple had been making long distance work before, Ryan decided to move out to Alabama with her while she pursued her dreams.

A few months before she graduated, Ryan proposed on the tarmac in Denver, the place they met.

Since Colorado holds so many important and sentimental memories for the two of them, they decided it was the perfect place to get married. This compassionate and caring couple will be tying the knot at Purgatory resort this October and we’re so excited!

For their engagement the couple wanted somewhere unique and out in the wilderness. We ventured to the White Mesa and were greeted by beautiful cliffs of orange, pink and bright white. This adventurous couple had no problem scaling the cliffs to get these epic shots and I had the best time getting to know them. Here are some of our favorites!
